No account required

Open the app, build your runsheet, and go. Your data lives in your browser's local storage by default. Nothing is sent to a server. No sign-up, no login, no barriers.

If you want to access your runsheets on another device, you can optionally sign in. Nothing is locked behind an account.

Cloud sync

Cloud Sync is a Pro feature that lets you access your runsheets from any browser or device. Sign in with your email to enable it. No password needed. We send a one-time code.

Once signed in, your runsheets sync automatically. Edit on your laptop, open Runsheet on another machine, and your latest changes are there. While signed in, your browser keeps a local copy so the app works even if you lose connectivity.

First sign-in with existing data

If you have runsheets saved locally before signing in for the first time, Runsheet will ask whether to sync them to your cloud account. If you choose to skip, those local runsheets will not be uploaded and your cloud data will load instead. This prompt only appears once. Export a JSON backup first if you want to keep your local work without syncing it.

Signing out

When you sign out, your runsheets are removed from this browser for privacy so the next person on your machine can't see them. Your data stays safe in the cloud and loads back when you sign in again.

Without cloud sync

If you don't use Cloud Sync, your data lives only in your browser. Use the JSON export feature to back up your work. Clearing your browser data will remove your runsheets.

How your data is stored

By default, everything is stored in your browser's local storage. This is a built-in browser feature that keeps data on your device. When you create, edit, or save a runsheet, nothing is sent to a server.

If you enable Cloud Sync, your runsheets are also stored on our servers (hosted on Supabase) so you can access them across devices. Cloud data is tied to your email and isolated from other users.

Smart Build and your content

Smart Build is a Pro feature that requires a free account. When you use it, the text or file you provide is sent to our server, which forwards it to Anthropic's Claude API. This is the only feature that sends data off your device.

• Your content is only used to generate the runsheet structure
• It is not stored on our servers after processing
• It is not used for AI model training

Privacy summary

• No tracking cookies. We use Vercel Analytics (anonymous, no cookies) for basic page-view metrics.
• No account required. No personal information collected unless you choose to sign in.
• Cloud data is isolated per user and not shared with third parties.
• Smart Build content is processed and discarded, not stored or used for training.
